I was born and raised in Wakayama City, Wakayama Prefecture, Japan. I moved to Keene when I was 20 years old to attend Keene State College, and I have lived in the area since then.
I have received Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Antioch University New England in 2005, and I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor in private practice since 2011. My work is mind-body focused helping you to bring balance and peace to your life. My continuing education includes but not limited to Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Level 1 Training (October, 2009 - November 2010,) Internal Family System Level 1 Training (April 2012 - January 2013), 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training (November 2014 - June 2015,) and 300-Hour Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga Certificate Program (September 2015 - April 2016.)
When I am not in the office, I enjoy reading books, practicing yoga, chilling with a cup of tea, taking a short walk, camping, hiking mountains, and being in the nature. One of the biggest accomplishments in my life is getting a motorcycle license as a 35-year-old person!
